3 Day Survival Course
We specialise in Survival training, our survival courses are run by highly experienced survival and close protection experts, we provide no-nonsense, high quality, survival instruction & advice to people from all walks of life with any level of experience.
We don’t teach theoretical techniques which can’t be used in the real world, we stick to proven tried and tested methods which actually work in real situations.
This 3 Day survival course starts with introductions to your instructors, safe knife use, general safety talk & survival psychology, we then move on to camp location & selection, you will then be shown how to build your own improvised shelter to keep you warm and dry.
You will then be instructed on reflectors for heat & protection, fire pits, fire lighting with out matches wet & dry including fire maintenance, we then move onto signals for rescue
In the afternoon we will show you how to find filter & purify your own water and then we take you on a plant id walk to teach you how to identify wild foods and how to prepare them, you also have trapping to learn including game preparation and you will be shown how to navigate using the stars and the sun.
This course is designed specifically for people who what to get a real taste of a survival experience in a safe and controlled environment on your second day you will be given a survival scenario with only limited resources and introduced to more of the stresses of survival.
"On your first night your kit will stay in your bag with exception of your survival tin, knife, cooking pot, head torch and (waterproofs only if required)"
By the end of this course you will have a good grounding in survival, knowledge & experiences that will help you should find yourself cut off from civilisation and only having limited resources.
On your final day you will be given a series of informal tests to complete!
All participants will receive a certificate on completion of this course! and are at the standard we required for our 9 Day Advanced Survival Course.
